CHILD FRIENDLY TOURS
Family-friendly tours from Sorrento port to Pompeii
A tour specially created for families who are calling in on a cruise or touring Italy with children.
The little ones will enjoy this educational and fun tour; parents will love it too.
Many children study Roman times at school; how fantastic that your child gets to visit an actual Roman Town and learn from one of our child friendly guides what life was like 2000 years ago.
Alternatively take them up the only active volcano on mainland Europe, Mt Vesuvius. Climb with them to the very top to peer inside the crater and see their reaction when they realise that they are on top of the world!
Time for you to make your own lunch - yes it's pizza making time!
All included in the price, a qualified pizza chef will show you the tricks then it's up to you to create your own. It will be cooked in a wood burning oven and served to you for lunch along with soft drinks and wine for the adults. (Grown ups get a shot of Limoncello too!).
After lunch we head to the centre of Sorrento where you have some free time to enjoy an ice cream, wander around the old historical centre or hop on the little train that takes you on a mini tour around the town.
If you like, we can add a Gelato demonstration to the tour. Gelato is the less frozen, much tastier variety of ice cream and Mario, who has learnt from generations before him, will happily share with your family the secrets whilst parents and children alike create a fresh gelato with him, tasting lots as you go along!
This tour has been designed with children in mind and gives adequate time to eat when they are hungry, have a little rest when needed and of course to create such great memories of this special family vacation.
